摘要: Loss of O-acetyl substituents from sialic acid expressed in mucin secreted by hyperplastic polyps (21), adenomas (9), a mixed polyp (1) and adenocarcinomas (41) the colorectum was investigated histochemistry (diastase PAS mild PAS) lectin (Arachis hypogaea or peanut agglutinin) with (nPNA) without (PNA) prior neuraminidase digestion. Mild nPNA reactivity were closely correlated, indicating that loss at C7, C8 C9 (hence positive) C4 labile) occur pari passu. These alterations characteristic both adenocarcinoma polyp. The same changes occurred patchily focally adenoma. Five "serrated" resembled morphologically histochemically. Luminal secretions within cancers classified as mucin-like (type I) non-mucin-like II). most specific technique for intraluminal material. However, accumulated luminal I II) intracytoplasmic lumina quite features colorectal cancer could be effectively highlighted means dPAS. PNA digestion showed distribution unlike nPNA. Whilst expression more than either mPAS nPNA, it observed mainly secreting little no mucus, thus limiting its value tumor marker.
