摘要: Background: Although many published case series have described patients9 experiences after gastrostomy placement, generalizing from the results of can present problems. The purpose this study was to examine placement among hospitalized older patients in a nationally representative sample. Methods: Using 1990 National Hospital Discharge Survey, age, sex, race, primary and secondary diagnoses, mortality were for aged 65 years having gastrostomies.
