摘要: Abstract Background: Biliary tree involvement is the most common complication of hydatid liver disease, which difficult to detect and manage. Methods: During last 7 years, we examined by ERCP 26 cases with echinococcal involvement. Indications in preoperative group included cholangitis 6 cases, right-sided hypochondralgia involving 4, assessment icterus 1 case. In postoperative group, indications for were 5 external biliary fistulas 5, colic Results: findings bile duct compression 11 (73.3%), fistula affecting 3 (20%), remnants within case (6.6%). With regard formation was detected (54.5%), 4 (36.3%), (9%). Endoscopic sphincterotomy successfully performed 13 patients both groups. No serious complications encountered.
