摘要: The Solar Deployment System (SolarDS) model is a bottom-up, market penetration that simulates the potential adoption of photovoltaics (PV) on residential and commercial rooftops in continental United States through 2030. NREL developed SolarDS to examine competitiveness PV based regional solar resources, capital costs, electricity prices, utility rate structures, federal local incentives. uses projected financial performance systems simulate for building types regions then aggregates state national levels. main components include simulator, annual revenue calculator, share aggregator. variety installed capacity range user-specified input parameters. levels from 15 193 GW by 2030 were simulated preliminary runs. results are primarily driven three assumptions: (1) future cost reductions, (2) maximum assumed with given performance, (3) financing parameters policy-driven assumptions, such as possible carbon emissions.
