摘要: The development of smart and multi-functional non-viral polymeric devices (NVPD) for nucleic acid delivery has captured tremendous attention over the past few decades [1–3]. Particularly, cationic polymers are perceived as promising candidates due to their safety profiles relative ease incorporate desired functional moieties[4, 5]. Currently, polyethylenimine (PEI) is among most intensively studied vehicles hitherto mediates nearly highest in vitro transfection efficiency absence any exogenous endosomolytic agent [6–8].
