摘要: The house crow (Corvus splendens), a native of the Indian subcontinent, has shown rapid expansion habitat range across Eastern Africa, Arabian Peninsula, Europe and Asia. It is an adaptable, gregarious commensal bird which regarded globally as important pest species due to its impacts on livestock, agricultural horticultural crops indigenous fauna fecal contaminator human environments water resources. Two Maxent (v3.3.3k) models (A) with presence data in Australia (B) simulated entry locations New Zealand) third ArcGIS model (C) environmental social layers) are used determine overall suitability index establish niche-based potential spatial distribution for C. splendens within Zealand. results show that Zealand, particularly northern regions North Island, suitable establishment crow. In order Model B showed highest land area (31.84%) followed by A (13.79%) C (10.89%). further this bird’s invasive high and, if Zealand invaded, likely be significant.
