Studies of retinoids in the prevention and treatment of cancer

摘要: Investigation of retinoids for anticancer activity in humans, either the chemopreventive or treatment mode, has been little studied. We summarize here our ongoing investigations four different areas: (1) secondary prevention cervical dysplasia with topical application all- trans -retinoic acid; (2) adjuvant resected high-risk stage I and II malignant melanoma bacille Calmette Guerin (BCG) plus minus oral vitamin A; (3) A acid therapy cutaneous metastatic melanoma; (4) isotretinoin as an agent.
