摘要: A joint of ZrB2-SiC ceramic to Ti6Al4V alloy was achieved successfully by contact reactive brazing with Ti/Cu lamination. The microstructure and chemical composition joining interfaces were investigated electron backscattered diffraction, energy dispersive spectroscopy X-ray diffraction. results revealed that ZrB2 had much faster decomposing velocity than SiC in Ti–Cu liquid alloy. Two types distribution TiB whiskers produced on surface due different growing conditions. microstructural evolution temperatures analyzed. mechanical properties the joints evaluated microhardness shear tests. maximum strength reached 90.7 MPa temperature at 920 °C for 10 min.
