摘要: The phenomenon of transient condensation onto, or evaporation from, a liquid sheet in contact with its pure vapor is treated from kinetic theory viewpoint. Maxwell moment method used to formulate the detailed problem. A steady surface mass flux rate exists for times large comparison collision time, that is, continuum regime, and explicit formulas are given this limit. complete gasdynamic field, however, nonsteady all times. calculations carried out utilizing four moments, effects incorporating additional moments negligible. Finally, analysis extended incorporate imperfect temperature accommodation. Examination solution matched asymptotic “quasisteady” shows field consists diffusion process near coupled through an expansion compression wave constant far state.
