摘要: Diagnosis of osteoid osteoma often is delayed, despite its high incidence, because similarities in presenting symptoms with other pathologic entities. The current case report describes a posttraumatic osteoma. Three years after osteosynthesis distal tibial fracture an was diagnosed at the former site. After excluding osteomyelitis as possible diagnosis, tumor excised successfully. Based on knowledge pathogenesis osteoma, it unlikely that lesion observed patient attributable to previous fracture.
