摘要: Obesity in dogs is an increasing problem associated with morbidity, shortened life span and poor quality. Overweight exhibit postprandial hyperlipidaemia, highlighting the need to identify potential dysregulations lipid metabolism. This study investigated metabolites related metabolism (i.e. acylcarnitines taurine) phospholipids a feed-challenge test aimed metabolic variations spontaneously overweight dogs. Twenty-eight healthy male Labrador Retriever were included, 12 of which classified as lean (body condition score (BCS) 4–5 on 9-point scale) 16 (BCS 6–8). After overnight fasting (14–17 h), blood samples collected fed high-fat meal followed by sample collection hourly for 4 h. Liquid chromatography-time flight mass spectrometry (LC-TOFMS) was used plasma phospholipids. Multivariate models, mixed model repeated measures linear regression analyses data interpretation. In all dogs, propionylcarnitine, stearoylcarnitine nine increased response food intake, while vaccenylcarnitine decreased (P ≤ 0.005 all). Overall, carnitine acetylcarnitine signal areas lower (P ≤ 0.004). Notably, than (P = 0.001) it did not change feeding. The latter finding contrast area found at one hour postprandially (P 6) (P < 0.05). Plasma status overall this cohort indicating insufficiency group. indicated fatty acid oxidation inflexibility intake. Further studies its role are warranted.
