摘要: Our meta-analysis assessed the efficacy of statins on risk fracture, bone mineral density (BMD), and markers metabolism by collecting data from 33 clinical trials. We found that statin treatment was associated with metabolism. And seemed to be more effective male patients osteoporosis. The for osteoporosis has been controversial in previous studies meta-analyses. conducted examine detail searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library databases trials inception May 2016. included described effect BMD, or turnover markers. Moreover, we also subgroup analyses according skeleton site, patient gender, length follow-up. A total which 23 observational (16 cohort 7 case-control studies) 10 randomized controlled (RCTs) were evaluated. These 314,473 group 1,349,192 control group. Statins decreased overall fractures (OR = 0.81, 95% CI 0.73–0.89) hip (OR = 0.75, 0.60–0.92). Furthermore, use increased BMD at (standardized mean difference (SMD) = 0.18, 0.00–0.36) lumbar spine (SMD = 0.20, 0.07–0.32) improved formation marker, osteocalcin (OC) (SMD = 0.21, 0.00–0.42). However, there no positive vertebral fractures, upper extremity femoral neck, bone-specific alkaline phosphatase (BALP), serum C-terminal peptide type I collagen (S-CTX). Also, compared subgroups, female subgroups only slightly statistical significance. indicates may a an hip, spine, OC. our results show have greater than patients.
