摘要: Electrospun nanofibers of highly sulfonated polystyrene (IEC ∼ 4.8 mequiv/g) might be good candidates for use in ion exchange applications because their ability to form continuous, conducting pathways cation transport. However, such fibers suffer terms dimensional stability due high water uptake at elevated humidity. To improve the electrospun nanofiber mats water, polyelectrolyte was coelectrospun presence a molecular weight poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO). Addition PEO spinning dope helped spinnability and subsequent heat treatment improved fiber water.
