摘要: Endometriosis is defined as the growth of endometrial glands and stroma in ectopic locations. Its aetiology multifactorial, but autoimmunity has been shown to play a role its onset development. The present study aimed investigate presence both IgG IgM anti-endometrial antibodies sera endometriosis patients comparison with age-matched controls, also cognate proteins involved. Sera from these groups were screened by western blot immunohistochemistry. Thirteen out 40 tested positive for isotype, 10/27 negative isotype. These findings indicate that classes could be detected almost 60% patients. Of various identified antigens, 30 45 kDa antigens immunodominant With immunohistochemistry, showed reactivity luminal epithelium, glandular epithelium stroma. might partially responsible failure implantation leading infertility. Identification specific targets would help understanding pathophysiology endometriosis, setting up non-invasive test diagnosis endometriosis.
