The betting distribution was distinctly nonuniform, and we identified several patterns, such as triples avoiding double 9s. addition, asked separate groups subjects rate selected numbers randomness, luckiness, perceived history winning; categorize numbers; free associate numbers. propose people seem choose highly patterned, available, and/or “lucky” People apparently do not reflect random process game (they utilize representativeness heuristic).
