Sugar Beet Juice Fermentation by Zymomonas mobilis Attached to Stainless Steel Wire Spheres

摘要: The fermentation of sugar beet juice as well syrup medium by Zymomonas mobilis inoculum attached to stainless steel wire spheres was investigated. A semi-synthetic sucrose enriched with mineral salts and yeast extract used the control. It established that raw ensured good culture growth slightly decreased ethanol synthesis applying both flame-burned TiCl 4 -treated carriers (Q x = 0.05-0.06 g/l × h: Q eth 1.02-1.22 h). High yield also observed in (Y 0.45-0.46 g/g), however, levan this decreased. application brought about less effect compared medium. use resulted high production lev 0.6-0.7 h), reduced 40%. In conclusion or is recommendable for preparation inoculum. stage has he realized using an optimized installed filled inocula provided possibility a repeated batch process, which could be recommended fermentation.
