摘要: Children who are operated for biliary atresia by the Kasai procedure have approximately 30% chance of survival 5 years. In an attempt to define role this operation atresia, surgery records past 15 years were reviewed. The aim study was assess benefits achieved from in infants with atresia. This conducted department pediatric Taleghanei Medical Center 1986 2000. A total 36 cases, boys and 21 girls reviewed retrospectively. All operations performed uniformly three investigators. Data regarding patient history, clinical presentation, laboratory radiological features, operative finding, complication mortality collected retrospectively studied. these series cases classified as groups. Group A, represented successful category after (11 patients, 30.5%) characterized more than 3 no jaundice. B (2 5.5%) defined years, but jaundice, group C (23 patients 63.8%) less (this further divided subgroups). It seems that jaundice is main prognostic factor operation.
