摘要: Abstract To aid in evaluating the environmental impacts of mining activities State Goa, India, this paper examines water–soil interactions occurring area. Using flame atomic absorption spectroscopy, mine and mineral processing wastes (tailings) from Codli area were examined for their metal concentrations. And it was found that these contain several metals such as Cr, Zn, Pb, Cd, Ni, Mn, Fe Cu. Among various present, iron manganese to be very high concentration. Groundwater samples collected five dug-wells study tested concentrations during pre-monsoon monsoon periods. It some water compared those post-monsoon samples. Experiments performed ascertain acid producing potential (APP) influence on leaching into surface groundwater The APP estimated order 0.005 mole H + /g. In addition, leachability associated with bearing under acidic rainwater through synthetic precipitation procedure tests results are discussed detail. Thus, general, ground is highly vulnerable heavy contamination.
