摘要: BACKGROUND Ectopic pregnancy (EP) is a condition presenting as major health problem for women of childbearing age. This study aimed to identify potential risk factors EP and evaluate the contribution associated EP. MATERIALS AND METHODS retrospective nested case-control was conducted from 2006 2011. In case group, there were total 83 diagnosed with EP, while in control group; 340 who gave birth. The basic recorded information included surgical, gynecological, obstetrics, sexual, contraceptive, infectious histories; demographic characteristics; smoking habits; fertility markers; well reproductive outcome after association between studied analyzed by logistic regression. RESULTS findings reveal that following increased including: Maternal age (odds ratio [OR] =1.11, confidence interval [CI] [1.06-1.16], P < 0.0001), spouse's cigarette (OR = 1.73, CI [1.05-2.85], 0.02), gravidity 1.50, [1.25-1.80], prior spontaneous abortions 1.93, [1.11-3.36], 0.01), history 17.16, [1.89-155.67], tubal blockage 10.85, [2.02-58.08], use intrauterine device (IUD) 4.39, [1.78-10.81], 0.001), damage 2.704, [1.26-5.78], first 1.01, [1.00-1.02], 0.0001) infertility 6.13, [2.70-13.93], 0.0001). CONCLUSION By identifying being amenable modification, such IUD effective risk-reduction strategies can be devised.
