摘要: Objective To evaluate the amount of undetected cement after cementation and cleaning implant-supported restorations. Materials methods Fifty three patients were treated with 53 single metal-ceramic restorations. The subgingival location margin each implant was measured a periodontal probe mesially, distally, buccaly, lingually, resulting in 212 measurements. data divided into four groups: equally tissue level (14 samples), 1 mm subgingivally (56), 2 mm (74), 3 mm (68) below tissues contour. Metal-ceramic restorations fabricated occlusal openings cemented on standard abutments resin-reinforced glass-ionomer. After cleaning, radiograph taken to assess if all had been removed. Then abutment/crown unit unscrewed for evaluation. All quadrants specimens peri-implant photographed analyzed Adobe Photoshop. Two proportions calculated: (1) relation between remnants area total abutment/restoration (2) soft Significance set 0.05. Results Excess crown 1 (0.002 ± 0.001); 2 (0.024 ± 0.005); 3 (0.036 ± 0.004); 4 (0.055 ± 0.007). Undetected excess increased when located deeper (P = 0.000), significant difference found among groups (P ≤ 0.05). Remnants (0.014 ± 0.006); (0.052 ± 0.011); (0.057 ± 0.009); (0.071 ± 0.012). increase statistically reliable (P = 0.0045), group Radiographic evaluation showed that mesially visible cases or 7.5%, six distally (11.3%). Conclusions The position margin, greater discovered. Dental radiographs should not be considered as method
