摘要: The objective of this study was to determine the clinical, radiographic, and patient-reported outcomes a 1-piece alumina-toughened zirconia implant restored with single crowns (SCs) or 3-unit fixed dental prostheses (FDPs) after 3 y observation. Forty patients received 53 implants, placed in 1-stage operation immediate temporization. Finally, 50 implants were 24 SCs 13 FDPs. To evaluate peri-implant bone loss, standardized radiographs taken at insertion, final restoration delivery, 1 y. Additionally, several soft tissue parameters outcome measures evaluated. Linear mixed models random intercept for each patient as clusters used compare subgroups. Three did not receive SC due early died. As result, 36 49 followed-up y, giving cumulative survival rate 94.2%. average marginal loss amounted 0.79 mm (SCs, 0.47 mm; FDPs, 1.07 P < 0.001). After delivery prosthetic restoration, further statistically significant (0.09 = 0.700). Probing depth, clinical attachment level, modified bleeding index increased significantly sites, whereas gingival recession decreased significantly. Compared pretreatment questionnaires, showed permanently improved perception function, aesthetics, sense, speech self-esteem. investigated ceramic system seems be comparable reported rates titanium when immediately restored. recorded suggest its potential utilization.
