摘要: Effects of microgravity on cardiac gap junction channeling activity were investigated aboard NASA zero-gravity aircraft. Liposome-reconstituted junctions assayed for channel function during free-fall, and the data compared with at 1 g. Control experiments tested 0 g effects structural stability liposomes, enzyme-substrate signalling system assay. The results demonstrate that short periods do not perturb reconstituted activity.
