摘要: This study examines the hypothesis that highly favorable outcome expectations promote weight loss and hinder maintenance. To investigate effects of satisfaction with treatment outcomes on loss, 349 adults were randomly assigned to 1 2 programs emphasize either (a) an "optimistic" message, focusing exclusively positive aspects or (b) a "balanced" giving equal time negative loss.
