摘要: The dinoflagellate chloroplast genome is fragmented into a number of plasmid-like minicircles, mostly containing one or more genes, and with conserved core. We show here that, in addition to the transcripts similar sizes individual genes that have been reported previously, there are larger beginning ending close core region. These may give rise smaller by processing. also previously ORFs (open reading frames) represented significantly abundant than those for non-coding regions, indicating indeed functional. ‘empty’ minicircles transcribed. propose model linkage DNA replication transcription chloroplasts.
