摘要: Objective To study the performance of a developed job exposure matrix (JEM) for assessment psychosocial factors at work in terms accuracy, possible misclassification bias and predictive ability to detect known associations with depression low back pain (LBP). Materials Methods We utilized two large population surveys (the Health 2000 Study Finnish Work Surveys), one construct JEM another test performance. In first study, information on demands, control, monotonous social support was collected via face-to-face interviews. Job strain operationalized based demands control using quadrant approach. second sensitivity specificity were estimated applying Bayesian The magnitude error examined by calculating biased odds ratios as function fixed true prevalence ratios. Finally, we adjusted observed between measures selected health outcomes. Results The showed good accuracy strain, while its other exposures relatively low. Without correction misclassification, able association men LBP both genders. Conclusions Our results suggest that more accurately identifies occupations high than those or support. Overall, present is useful source job-level epidemiological studies lacking individual-level information. Furthermore, applicability approach evaluation situation where, practice, no gold standard exists.
