摘要: Decorin, a proteoglycan known to interact with collagen and growth factors, may play key roles during ontogenesis, tissue remodeling, cancer. We have deciphered the complete protein sequence of murine decorin by cDNA cloning, elucidated its gene structure chromosomal location, investigated expression in developing embryo. The were highly conserved vis human counterpart; however, lacked leader exon, exon Ib, which was found only human. Using interspecific backcrossing, we assigned chromosome 10 just proximally Steel locus. In situ hybridization studies mouse embryos showed distinct pattern progressive increase mRNA ontogenesis.
