摘要: Abstract A program of observations Jupiter's H+3auroras was conducted during the first 4 months 1992, a period that spanned Ulysses encounter. Daily variations auroral intensity are small in magnitude (∼20%) and well correlated with solar wind ram pressure arriving at Jupiter. much larger (factor 3) time variation is observed to occur on scale approximately 2 months. During observation, inferred total intrinsic northern aurora exceeded southern by factor 2. Throughout latter months, characterized less intense activity, comparable aurora.
