摘要: An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay is described for the detection of serum antibodies to visceral larva migrans (Toxocariasis). Excretory-secretory antigens second-stage larvae ofToxocara canis were used as antigen coat polystyrene plates. With sera from patients high antibody titers observed in both ocular and disorders. Cross-reactions due other parasitic infections could be excluded, including migrating larval such ascariasis, trichinellosis, strongyloidiasis, filariasis, anisakiasis. In a small seroepidemiologic survey healthy primary schoolchildren, remarkably percentage (7.1) reacted positively this method. These children showed eosinophilia compared seronegative group. The data with those countries results prompt reconsideration significance ofT. public health.
