摘要: Childhood obesity is a recognised increasing public health problem in Iran, but no evidence for effective prevention strategies available. The aim was to inform the development of an intervention Iranian school children. A quantitative analysis used examine pattern and associated factors with qualitative study explored beliefs parents staff about causes childhood potential interventions. Overall 28.2% children were overweight or obese there non-significant tendency increased energy intake higher weight status. Measures body fat highly positively correlated blood pressure. There generally accurate size perception among relationship between status quality life scores. Focus group participants identified range perceived risk related diet physical activity at micro macro levels. In terms interventions, importance level activities highlighted. confirms that important Tehran highlighted socio-economic variations prevalence, which will targeting Important contextual information obtained intervention.
