摘要: Women who select conservative treatment for carcinoma of the breast (tumor excision followed by supervoltage radiation therapy) place a premium on preservation and aesthetics. When local control fails they require mastectomy, or when aesthetic appearance is unacceptable, may request reconstruction. The goal this study to evaluate series 10 patients required reconstructive surgery after complications treatment. Patient classification: I. Breast chest wall necrosis (3). II. fibrosis gross asymmetry III. Local recurrence cancer (5). IV. Positive margins initial lumpectomy (1). mean age was 34 years. Radiation dosage average 5252 rads with two receiving iridium-192 implant boosts. management complex usually major musculocutaneous flap because effects.
