摘要: Toll-like receptors (TLRs) recognize microbial products and induce immune responses. Their subcellular distribution is believed to be optimized for their pathogen recognition. Little known, however, about molecular mechanisms regulating the of TLR. Lipopolysaccharide, a principal membrane component Gram-negative bacteria, recognized by receptor complex consisting 4 (TLR4) MD-2. We here show that novel molecule, PRotein Associated with Tlr4 (PRAT4B), regulates cell surface expression TLR4. PRAT4B has signal peptide followed mature peptide. associated hypoglycosylated, immature form TLR4 but not MD-2 or TLR2. Downregulation mRNA small interfering RNA decreased on HEK293 cells. These results suggest mechanism
