摘要: Diverse dietary practices and nutritional counseling strategies are followed in the management of diabetes its comorbidities. The approaches practiced India make use calorie nutrient counting to ensure patient-centered nutrition therapy management. Macronutrient modulation is a central pillar medical (MNT). Carbohydrates (CHO) considered as predominant macronutrient affecting postprandial blood glucose levels. insulin-to-CHO ratio used for calculating mealtime insulin doses among patients on regimen. aim this article highlight challenges faced planning MNT, modifying recommended allowances persons with diabetes, suggesting solutions overcome these. It also aims understand requirement individual macronutrients their impact glycemia well dose adjustment.
