摘要: An in-beam Mossbauer spectrometer was set up at the VICKSI heavyion accelerator in Berlin. Coulomb excited nuclei can be implanted into arbitrary sample materials. Measuring temperatures may varied from 5 K to 650 K. A typical scpectrum shown this work measured within a few hours.57Fe metals having large atomic volumes: Al, α-Zr, β-Sn. In these matrices strongly undersized iron atom tends occupy interstitial sites and undergo dynamic processes.
