摘要: Abstract In patients with mitral ( n =77: organic=49, functional=28) and tricuspid regurgitation =55: functional=54) quantified by angiography, the temporal variation of proximal flow convergence region throughout systole was assessed colour Doppler M-Mode, peak mean radius isovelocity surface area for 28 cm/s blood velocity were measured. Additionally, derived from two-dimensional obtained. About 50% showed a typical related to mechanism regurgitation. The different radii similarly correlated angiographic grade in (rank correlation coefficients 0.55–0.89) they differentiated mild moderate (grade ≤II) severe ≥III) comparable accuracy (82–96%). However, due leaflet prolapse two correctly classified M-mode overestimated both radii. Only half suitable quantify most patients. use may avoid overestimation.
