摘要: A principal step of Fe supply entire plants is FeIII reduction in the root apoplast which controls uptake Fe2+ into cytoplasm. We developed a new dye, ferrozine diboronic acid, was coupled to cell wall and thus -to our knowledge for first time- we could measure directly apoplast. It shown that pH-dependent depressed at an apoplastic pH≥5.4. completely blocked, when were exposed NO3−/HCO3, simulating nutrient solution calcareous soils. In leaf there analogous situation, as here much by higher pH contrast induced nitrate due nitrate/H+ co-transport. Insufficient affects various processes, particularly meristematic growth chlorophyll synthesis.
