摘要: Recently developed antisera selective for angiotensin Type 2 (AT2) receptors were use to localize AT2 in rat brain by immunohistochemistry. While the results from these experiments largely consistent with previous autoradiographic and radioligand binding analyses of receptor populations brain, there also some notable differences distribution immunoreactivity. More specifically, agreement studies, detected apparent locus coeruleus bed nucleus accessory olfactory tract, whereas receptor-immunoreactivity cerebellum was primarily associated Purkinje cell layer deep cerebellar nuclei rather than molecular as has been previously reported studies. Other regions prominent immune-staining included all subfields hippocampus, which had contain exclusively AT1 receptors. Limbic structures such amygdala, thalamic areas rhomboid nucleus, paraventricular hypothalamic supraoptic exhibited AT2-immunoreactivity. In staining appeared be magnocellular neurons. examined, immunoreactivity cytoplasm membrane not localized within nucleus. Collectively, confirm extend neuroanatomical resolution studies well identify new brain.
