摘要: In a urine diversion dry toilet (UDDT), the and faeces are collected separately in order to recycle their nutrient content unmixed. UDDT, an additive e.g. lime, wood ash, soil or sawdust, depending on which one is easily accessed by users, usually sprinkled after each defecation. The purpose of primarily keep away flies odours contribute primary treatment faeces. this paper, ash sawdust were applied source-separated during collection phase, then die-off indicators pathogens mixtures was studied. E. coli faeces/ash mixture faster initially (first 7 days) compared that achieved faeces/sawdust even though 30-50 days nearly similar for both mixtures. not detected about 2 months, but months mixture. Enterococcus spp. did decrease below detection higher numbers (difference logs) at all times than difference attributed differences characteristics additives, namely, high alkaline mineral (giving pH) lower moisture sawdust. It recommended increase use as over toilets.
