摘要: The coexpression of calretinin- (CR) and parvalbumin-immunoreactivities (irs) was examined in oro-facial tissues the rat. Nerve fibers coexpressing these calcium-binding proteins (CaBPs) were observed lingual periodontal ligament incisors but not other tissues. In part adjacent to alveolar bone, such nerve left bundles formed bush-like endings, i.e., they ramified repeatedly terminated with one four twigs. An immunoelectron microscopic method indicated that endings identical Ruffini-like 4% trigeminal neurons retrogradely labeled from inferior coexpressed CR- parvalbumin-irs. present observations suggest CaBPs may be a specific marker for low-threshold mechanoreceptors ganglion.
