摘要: Collaborative studies showed that relative potency assays for a particular type of diphtheria toxoid (adsorbed) and tetanus (plain adsorbed) gave very similar results, whether the were carried out by toxin challenge or antitoxin titration after immunization experimental animals with graded doses toxoid. The same numerical results obtained scoring system as based on survivals only. Although skin tests used limited scale in these studies, it seems likely they could replace lethal assays.For both diphtheria, adsorbed higher when combined other antigens than single Both mice guinea-pigs test For same, but (DPT vaccine) mouse assay about twice those guinea-pig assays.
