摘要: Mononuclear cells play an important role in the regulation of microbe-induced inflammation, part throughtheirabilitytosecretecytokinesinresponsetomicroorganismsandtheirproducts.Toevaluatethe effectsofDesulfovibrio desulfuricans-derived endotoxins on tnF-α induction, lipopolysaccharides (lpss) isolatedfromsoilandintestinalstrainwereusedtostimulateperipheralbloodmononuclearcells. Theeffect oftheselPSswasassessedincomparisontothatoflPSsfromEscherichia coli, Salmonella minnesota andoflipidAfromSalmonellaminnesota. level was measured by enzyme-linked immunosor - bentassay.D.desulfuricans lpss at highest dose (1000 ng/ml) displayed greater biological potency inducing secretion than other used which indicates that these may act as a critical regulatoryfactorinbacteremiacausedbythesemicroorganisms.
