摘要: A spectrum of genitourinary abnormalities occur in patients with cryptorchidism; the most important is enhanced susceptibility to developing testis cancer. While etiologic basis for cancer cryptorchid remains controversial, failure normal testicular development--testicular dysgenesis--may underlie carcinogenesis testis. This report reviews these associations as well characteristics and evidence supporting early orchiopexy.
