摘要: Twelve species representing nine genera of East African viverrids were studied in captivity and their natural habitats. Filmed sequences cap- tive animals showing walking, trotting, running, galloping, jumping, climbing, swimming, burrowing are described, where possible gait formulae given. The types locomotion used by different reflect divergent habitats food preferences.
