摘要: Circadian patterns of heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, rate-pressure product were compared in elders with disease (N = 22, mean age 86 years) a comparison group 18, 80 who did not have cardiac diagnosis. For 4 consecutive days, automated measures taken every 2 hours while subjects awake. Activity-rest recorded by an observer, demographic medication profiles obtained. Data subjected to cosinor analysis, the groups on rhythmic parameters. Although older, poorer health, less active, more prone daytime napping, they exhibited rhythms than subjects. The also had synchronized oscillation overt rate pressure rhythms. These results can be attributed standardized times administration. Attention may suggest appropriate day for conducting individual assessments.
