摘要: Aims:  To investigate the effects of trans-2-hexenal on blue mould disease, patulin content and fruit quality in ‘Conference’ pears. Methods Results:  Fruits, wounded inoculated with Penicillium expansum or non-inoculated, were exposed to vapour treatment (12·5 μl l−1) at 20°C. A greater reduction decay was obtained by application 24 48 h after inoculation, contrast 2 h inoculation ineffective. Fruit storage temperature (−1°C) did not affect antifungal activity. Although 2-h exposure effective reducing mould, an least 8 h required reduce content. Treatments physical–chemical characteristics. After 6 days 20°C following exposure, residue treated fruits less than natural compound unripe fruits. Conclusions: trans-2-Hexenal is infections Conference pears when applied 24–48 h pathogen inoculation. Significance Impact Study: trans-2-Hexenal could be a alternative fungicides control P. infections. Further work needed study methods conditions avoiding persistence off-odours off-flavours their vapours.
