摘要: China, as a fast growing fossil-fuel-based economy, experiences increasing levels of air pollution. To tackle pollution, China has taken the first steps by setting emission–reduction targets for nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulphur dioxide (SO2) in 11th 12th Five Year Plans. This paper uses two models—the Energy–Environment–Economy Model at Global level (E3MG) global Chemistry Transport pTOMCAT—to test effects these policies. If policy are met, then maximum values 32 % 45 reductions below ‘business usual’ monthly mean NOx SO2 concentrations, respectively, will be achieved 2015. However, decrease concentrations some highly polluted areas East, North-East South-East can lead to up 10% increase surface ozone Our study demonstrates an urgent need more detailed analysis impacts designs pollution reduction guidelines China.
