The Evolution of MAS Tools

摘要: During the evolution of agent-oriented software engineering area, many tools were developed. These range from application programming interfaces (APIs) for developing agent and multi-agent applications, to platforms that provide infrastructure development, testing, execution, monitoring, maintaining agent-based applications. In early days there was a proliferation such tools; however, nowadays, only limited number have kept on evolving are being used. Moreover, it seems most development occurred in academia few devised used within industry. The challenges include provisioning comprehensive suite address both deployment systems.
