摘要: In this article, I argue for ‘bringing inequality back in’ to organizational research in order investigate the role of management and practices macro-level economic inequality. To set an agenda area, suggest considering three loci where links between organizations may be observed: locus comprising producer/employee, investor consumer dimensions; interorganizational help disentangle issues related distribution rewards across value chains, large financial versus non-financial organizations, occupations general; socio-political system as a social change, political influence institutional unpacked. addition, link from other important vantage points: elites, demographics, global debt. also briefly highlight data analyses. Throughout, discuss contributions five articles special issue how they push us towards agenda. Finally, that it helpful think ‘inequality footprint’ practices, potentially leading reduce reverse footprint ensure benefits reach wider society.
