摘要: Abstract Novel octa-substituted metal-free, cobalt(II) and zinc(II) phthalocyanines have been synthesized by using chloro and/or coumarin substituted phthalonitrile derivatives. The compounds were characterized UV–Vis, IR, 1H NMR, MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry elemental analysis. effects of substituents, metals, solvents concentration on spectroscopic properties aggregation behaviour the novel Pcs investigated. Furthermore, redox octa-4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-7-oxo-8-methylcoumarin-substituted examined in dimethylsulfoxide dichloromethane voltammetry situ spectroelectrochemistry. Metal-free phthalocyanine zinc displayed ligand-based one-electron processes whereas cobalt showed both ligand- metal-based processes. A couple corresponding to reduction 4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-7-oxo-8-methylcoumarin substituents was also detected. observed be broad or split, due association electron transfer aggregation–deaggregation equilibrium.
