摘要: The influence of activation conditions upon the performance both supported and unsupported finely divided Pt/Ru catalysts in electro-oxidation methanol has been studied. In case carbon paper direct H2 at 300°C dried, impregnated papers led to poorer activity than those prepared by air 300°C. This lower could not be ascribed a decrease metal surface area due annealing. addition it was found that low enhanced oxidation Similar phenomena were observed when Adams-type heated temperatures range 300 500°C. Cyclic voltammetric study catalyst revealed heating produced resembling pure Pt whilst samples showed typical Ru-rich profiles. These results are interpreted terms enrichment processes: leads component higher heat adsorption H2, namely Pt, or re-oxidation O2, Ru.
