摘要: Abstract One-dimensional zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructures of different sizes were synthesized on silicon wafer substrates by controlling the substrate condition using chemical etching and a vapor–liquid–solid (VLS) process. In this work, thin layer gold was deposited used as catalyst. Gold is one most frequently-used catalysts in vapor-deposition method. By annealing gold-coated films at temperatures, transformed into islands, due to dewetting effect. To investigate effect process ZnO nanostructures, samples with various thicknesses are annealed temperatures. The results compared uncoated chemically-etched wafers. Structural morphological properties analyzed X-ray diffraction scanning-electron microscopy. Formation nanowires nanorods observed, their dependent islands. Photoluminescence spectra room temperature measured visible emissions observed from temperature.
